The post today deals with yesterdays news. On Monday April 9th, 2018, the Governor of Tennessee addressed his state regarding the opioid crisis. The situation in Tennessee is ridiculous. This is an example of an attempt to deal with the ongoing issue. The link below includes the article and video.

DeleteThis definitely seems like a step in the right direction. I think that it is a good sign that lawmakers and doctors were able to work together come to a compromise, in order to develop a policy that is agreeable by both sides. Time will tell if these restrictions are successful in combating the crisis.

DeleteSeems to be a step in the right direction. By limiting use via prescriptions, addiction to prescribed medications may decrease.
